Terms for publishers
These terms apply whenever you promote a program through Clickwise. Each program can add its own conditions, such as markets, traffic types or coupon rules. Where a program's conditions are stricter than these terms, the program's conditions apply.
Brand bidding and paid search
- Don't bid on a merchant's brand name, its trademarks or misspellings of them in search ads on Google, Bing or any other search engine.
- Don't run paid search ads that link to a merchant's site, directly or through your Clickwise link.
- Both are allowed only with the merchant's written permission for that program, given directly or through the network that runs it. The permission covers only what it states (keywords, markets, ad networks) and can be withdrawn.
- Don't use a merchant's brand in an ad's display URL, or in the domain of a page you control, without the same permission.
Honest traffic
- No cookie stuffing. A click must come from a person who chose to follow your link. No hidden frames, invisible pixels, pop-ups, pop-unders, automatic redirects or software that sets a tracking cookie without that choice.
- No forced or misleading traffic. No fake buttons, no ads that pretend to be the merchant, no clicks from bots or click farms, and no clicks you generate yourself.
- Browser extensions and shopping software must not activate your link when the user hasn't clicked it, and must not replace another publisher's link.
Incentives and cashback
- Rewards for buying, such as cashback, points or donations, are allowed only in programs whose conditions allow them.
Coupons
- Publish only codes the merchant has authorised for affiliates, in the program and market where they apply.
- Don't publish codes meant for other channels (staff, customer service or another partner's audience), and don't make codes up.
- Don't show expired or invented offers as current.
If these terms are broken
- Before a final decision we tell you what we found and you can reply; pending commission can be withheld while we review.
- Commission on the affected sales is reversed.
- Your access to the program, or your Clickwise account, can be closed.
Invoices (self-billing)
- For each commission payment, SOFT DEV FZ LLC, the company that operates Clickwise, issues the invoice in your name and on your behalf (a self-billed invoice), marks it as self-billed and sends you a copy.
- You agree not to issue your own invoice for the commissions a self-billed invoice covers.
- Keep your billing details up to date in your Clickwise panel (the name you're paid under and, if you have one, your tax or VAT number), and tell us if your legal name, country or address changes. You remain responsible for your own taxes.
- If a self-billed invoice is wrong, tell us within 30 days of receiving it and we'll correct it.
- If you're registered for VAT in the United Arab Emirates, we agree with you how to invoice before self-billing applies to you.
- You can leave self-billing at any time by writing to partnerships@clickwise.net; from then on you invoice us for your commissions.
- Self-billing applies to commissions paid from 3 November 2026.
